Making babies butterflies est un atelier voué à se familiariser avec le travail de Donna Haraway, philosophe des sciences, théoricienne, fabricatrice de langues, de récits, de relations. Cet atelier naît à l’intersection des workshops EAAPES, How To Become a Lesbian, et Silent Red Alert : la science-fiction, le féminisme, la traduction, et le travail de l‘écriture en sont des ressorts communs. La multiplicité des voix et des relations avec qui Donna Haraway dialogue engagera le workshop dans des champs de savoir encore plus variés : biologie, éthologie, et jeux de ficelles.
On se familiarisera notamment avec les histoires de Camille, suite de récits spéculatifs sur les enfants du compost, co-écrits par Donna Haraway, VincianeDespret et Fabrizio Terranova, qui ont été publiés dans le dernier ouvrage de Donna Haraway, Staying with the Trouble.
